This is a talk given at the 2022 Amazon re:MARS conference. It is a longer version of the talk given at the 2021 All Things Open conference with a similar name. The purpose of this talk is to learn about the mathematics that provide the foundation for machine learning, unification of various machine learning methodologies, and moving toward the creation of models which are simultaneously precise and explicable.
